About the Role: As a Resident Neurologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders, ensuring comprehensive care for patients.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct thorough neurological assessments, including patient histories, physical examinations, and neurological tests. - Diagnose and treat various neurological disorders, such as stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and neurodegenerative conditions. - Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic findings, which may include medication management, therapy, and surgical interventions. - Provide comprehensive care and ongoing management for patients with chronic neurological conditions. - Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as MRI, CT scans, EEG, and lumbar punctures, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively. - Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications. - Participate in clinical research, trials, and academic activities to advance neurology knowledge and treatment outcomes.
