About the Role: As a Resident in Pediatrics, you will provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients, ensuring their health and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic illnesses. - Perform routine health check-ups, developmental assessments, and immunizations for infants, children, and adolescents. - Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures, such as blood tests, X-rays, and other imaging studies. - Consult with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to discuss treatment plans, patient progress, and follow-up care. - Manage pediatric emergencies and provide timely interventions to stabilize patients. - Educate parents and caregivers about pediatric health issues, nutrition, growth milestones, and preventive care practices. - Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, surgeons, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic patient care. - Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and progress notes.
