About the Role: As a Consultant Gynaecologist, you will provide comprehensive care for patients, ensuring their reproductive health and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide comprehensive care for patients, including conducting thorough pelvic exams, Pap smears, and other gynaecological assessments. - Diagnose and treat a variety of gynaecological conditions, such as endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), fibroids, and cancers of the reproductive system. - Perform gynaecological surgeries, including but not limited to hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and caesarean sections. Manage preoperative and postoperative care. - Provide care throughout pregnancy, including prenatal visits, labour and delivery support, and postnatal follow-up. - Educate patients on reproductive health, family planning, fertility treatments, and menopause management. Provide counseling for sexual health and other sensitive issues. - Utilize and interpret diagnostic tools and tests, such as ultrasounds, mammograms, and blood tests. - Work closely with other healthcare providers, including nurses, midwives, and primary care physicians, to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care. - Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting diagnoses, treatments, and patient progress using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
