About the Role: As a Resident in Plastic Surgery, you will play a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes through advanced surgical techniques and personalized care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct thorough consultations with patients to discuss cosmetic goals, medical histories, and surgical options. - Perform cosmetic procedures such as breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, liposuction, and facelifts. - Engage in reconstructive procedures for burns, trauma, congenital deformities, and cancer reconstruction. - Develop personalized treatment plans, discuss risks and benefits with patients, and obtain informed consent. - Provide post-operative care, including monitoring recovery, managing complications, and ensuring optimal surgical outcomes. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthesiologists, nurses, and other surgical staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Contribute to medical education by teaching residents, fellows, and medical students, and participate in research and academic activities to advance the field of plastic surgery.
