About the Role: As a Resident in Pediatric Surgery, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating pediatric surgical conditions, ensuring the highest standards of care for our young patients.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric surgical conditions, including congenital anomalies, trauma, tumors, and gastrointestinal disorders. - Perform surgical interventions on pediatric patients, ensuring safety, precision, and optimal outcomes. - Conduct comprehensive pre-operative evaluations to assess patients' medical histories, surgical risks, and anesthesia requirements. - Monitor and manage patients' recovery from surgery, including pain management and prevention of post-operative complications. - Collaborate with pediatricians, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other specialists to provide integrated care for pediatric patients. - Educate patients' families about surgical procedures, treatment plans, and post-operative care instructions. - Participate in clinical research, academic teaching, and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows in pediatric surgery.
