About the Role: As an Associate Consultant in Pediatrics, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to pediatric patients, ensuring their health and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical histories of pediatric patients. - Diagnose and treat a variety of pediatric conditions, including acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and developmental issues. - Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including medication management, therapeutic interventions, and follow-up care. - Administer vaccinations and perform routine pediatric procedures such as blood draws, lumbar punctures, and emergency interventions. - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. - Provide compassionate care and emotional support to children and their families. - Explain diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans in an understandable manner to patients and their families. - Educate families about child health, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications. - Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients. - Provide guidance and support to junior medical staff and pediatric nurses. - Assist in the training and mentorship of medical students and residents.
