Make a Difference in Patient Care: As an Associate Consultant in Medical Oncology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating cancer patients, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
How You'll Contribute: - Assist in diagnosing and staging various types of cancer through physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and medical histories. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and radiation. - Administer chemotherapy and other treatments, managing side effects and complications. - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. - Provide pre- and post-treatment care to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate medical records. - Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans. - Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families throughout the treatment process. - Educate patients and families about cancer prevention, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
