How You'll Contribute: - Conduct thorough eye examinations to diagnose eye diseases, conditions, and vision problems. - Diagnose ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy, and develop treatment plans. - Perform eye surgeries, including cataract extraction, LASIK, and retinal surgery, while managing preoperative and postoperative care. - Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, medications, and other treatments for vision correction and eye health maintenance. - Educate patients on eye care practices and preventive measures. - Utilize specialized equipment for diagnostic tests, such as visual field tests and OCT. - Collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive eye care. - Maintain detailed patient records, documenting diagnoses and treatment plans. - Stay updated with advancements in ophthalmology through continuous education. - Ensure compliance with medical standards and ethical guidelines.
