About the Role: As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will play a crucial role in the health and well-being of children, providing expert care and guidance to young patients and their families.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct comprehensive physical examinations of children. - Diagnose and treat a variety of pediatric illnesses and conditions. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. - Monitor and assess the growth and development of young patients. - Perform necessary medical procedures, such as vaccinations, and manage acute and chronic illnesses. - Clearly explain diagnoses, treatments, and medical procedures to patients and their families. - Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their caregivers. - Educate families on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices. - Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and therapists, to provide comprehensive care. - Coordinate patient care with other departments and services as needed. - Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
