Your Core Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including detailed medical history and neurological examinations. - Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as MRI, CT scans, EEGs, and lumbar punctures. - Diagnose a wide range of neurological conditions, including epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, stroke, and migraines. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on diagnosis and patient needs. - Prescribe medications, recommend lifestyle changes, and provide non-surgical treatments. - Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. - Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and management strategies. - Provide information on prognosis and potential outcomes. - Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and their families. - Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. - Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions. - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
