About the Role: As a Consultant Neurologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating various neurological conditions, ensuring compassionate and patient-centered care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct thorough neurological assessments, including patient history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests. - Diagnose a range of neurological conditions, such as stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and neuropathies. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with neurological disorders. - Prescribe medications, therapies, and other interventions based on the latest clinical guidelines and research. - Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as MRI, CT scans, EEG, EMG, and lumbar punctures. - Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to identify neurological conditions and monitor disease progression. - Provide compassionate and patient-centered care, addressing the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of neurological disorders. - Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
