About the Role: As a Senior Registrar in Anesthesiology, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures. - Conduct pre-operative assessments, including evaluating patient history, physical condition, and potential risks. - Develop individualized anesthesia plans tailored to each patient’s needs and surgical requirements. - Monitor patients’ vital signs and physiological status throughout surgical procedures, adjusting anesthesia levels as needed. - Provide comprehensive care during the perioperative period, including pre-operative preparation and post-operative recovery. - Manage patient pain during and after surgery, utilizing pharmacological and non-pharmacological techniques. - Oversee the safe emergence from anesthesia, ensuring patients regain consciousness without complications. - Provide post-anesthesia care, including monitoring in the recovery room and managing post-operative pain and nausea.
