About the Role: As an Attending Consultant in the ICU, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing: - Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring. - Manage complex ICU cases, including ventilatory support, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced therapeutic interventions. - Oversee and lead the ICU team, including senior and junior residents, medical students, and nursing staff, ensuring effective management of patient care. - Develop and implement treatment plans, coordinating with specialists and other healthcare providers as needed. - Provide expert consultation to referring physicians and other healthcare providers regarding patient management and treatment options. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care. - Ensure adherence to ICU protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. - Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives, utilizing data analysis to identify areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
