About the Role: As a Consultant Orthopedics, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality orthopedic care to patients. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and enhance their quality of life.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct thorough clinical evaluations of patients presenting with orthopedic conditions. - Review patient medical histories, symptoms, and diagnostic test results to develop accurate diagnoses. - Recommend and interpret imaging studies, such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, to assess the extent of injuries or conditions. - Perform a wide range of orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements, fracture repairs, arthroscopy, and reconstructive procedures. - Develop and implement surgical treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. - Ensure that all surgical procedures are conducted in compliance with the highest standards of medical practice and patient safety. - Provide non-surgical management options, such as physical therapy, medication, and lifestyle modifications. - Administer injections, such as corticosteroids, to relieve pain and inflammation in joints and soft tissues. - Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists to create comprehensive rehabilitation plans.
