About the Role: As a Registrar in Neonatology, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to newborns, particularly those in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide direct patient care to newborns, including those in the NICU. - Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures. - Manage acute and chronic neonatal conditions. - Collaborate with neonatologists and other healthcare professionals in patient management. - Offer consultation services to pediatricians and obstetricians. - Communicate effectively with families regarding the care and condition of their newborns. - Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings. - Supervise and train junior doctors and medical students. - Participate in educational programs and continuous professional development. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in neonatology.
