Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Senior Resident in Orthopedics, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing patients with various medical conditions, contributing to their recovery and well-being.
How You'll Contribute: - Perform detailed evaluations and examinations of patients, including history-taking and physical exams. - Diagnose and manage patients with both common and complex medical conditions under consultant supervision. - Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients, adjusting as necessary based on patient progress and test results. - Handle medical emergencies, stabilize critically ill patients, and assist in procedures such as resuscitation, intubation, and life support. - Assist consultants in surgeries and other complex procedures, gaining hands-on experience. - Conduct daily ward rounds independently or with the consultant, reviewing patient progress and implementing management plans. - Liaise with consultants and other departments to refer patients for further management when necessary. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring all diagnoses, treatment plans, and patient outcomes are properly documented.
