Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Consultant Ophthalmologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating various eye conditions, ensuring the highest standards of care for your patients.
How You'll Contribute: - Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy. - Review patient medical histories and perform diagnostic tests, including visual field tests and ultrasound imaging. - Conduct preoperative evaluations and provide detailed explanations to patients regarding surgical procedures. - Ensure that all surgeries are performed following the highest standards of safety and care. - Prescribe and manage medications for eye conditions and administer treatments such as laser therapy. - Collaborate with optometrists and other specialists to manage complex cases. - Monitor patients' recovery post-surgery and provide follow-up care as necessary.
