Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Consultant Nephrologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing kidney-related conditions, ensuring high standards of care for patients.
How You'll Contribute: - Diagnose and manage a wide range of kidney-related conditions, including chronic kidney disease (CKD), glomerulonephritis, acute kidney injury (AKI), electrolyte imbalances, and hypertension. - Oversee patients on various forms of dialysis (hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis), ensuring high standards of care and monitoring for complications. - Provide pre- and post-operative care for kidney transplant patients, including assessment, preparation, and follow-up. - Manage nephrology outpatient clinics and provide consultations to inpatients requiring kidney care, including those in intensive care units. - Handle nephrological emergencies, such as acute kidney failure, rapidly progressing glomerulonephritis, or dialysis-related complications. - Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care for complex cases. - Supervise and mentor junior doctors, nephrology fellows, and medical students in clinical and research activities. - Conduct case presentations, clinical discussions, and teaching sessions on nephrology-related topics.
