About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Gastroenterology, you will provide comprehensive care to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings, making a significant impact on their health and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide comprehensive care to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. - Conduct patient examinations, order investigations, diagnose conditions, and formulate treatment plans. - Perform procedures and surgeries as per the departmental protocols and under the supervision of attending consultants. - Supervise and mentor junior residents, interns, and medical students in clinical duties. - Conduct teaching sessions, case presentations, and clinical discussions for junior staff and students. - Assist in organizing departmental academic activities such as seminars, case discussions, and journal clubs. - Participate in ongoing clinical research projects within the department. - Assist in the preparation of research papers, case reports, and presentations for conferences or medical journals. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in medical research and clinical practices relevant to the specialty.
