About the Role: As a Jr. Resident in General Surgery, you will play a crucial role in the assessment and management of surgical patients, contributing to their recovery and care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assist in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of surgical patients under supervision. - Participate in pre-operative evaluations, including taking patient histories and performing physical examinations. - Provide post-operative care, including monitoring recovery and managing wounds. - Assist in routine and emergency surgical procedures, including operating room preparation and patient positioning. - Participate in daily ward rounds and contribute to patient care planning. - Gain hands-on experience in various surgical techniques and procedures. - Ensure adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols during surgeries.
