About the Role: As a Registrar Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in interpreting diagnostic imaging studies to aid in patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds. - Provide accurate and timely reports on imaging findings to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning. - Identify and document abnormalities, pathologies, or injuries in imaging studies. - Review patient history and imaging requisitions to ensure appropriate imaging studies are ordered. - Explain imaging procedures to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have. - Provide preliminary findings and recommendations to referring physicians and other healthcare providers. - Assist in performing interventional radiology procedures under the supervision of senior radiologists, such as biopsies, drainages, and catheter placements. - Ensure proper preparation, positioning, and monitoring of patients during imaging procedures. - Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to safety protocols during invasive procedures.
