About the Role: As a Consultant/Senior Consultant in Orthopedics, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality medical care to patients. Your expertise will ensure effective diagnosis and treatment, contributing to improved patient outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assess, diagnose, and treat patients referred by other healthcare professionals. - Create, review, and update individualized treatment plans based on medical history and test results. - Perform or oversee complex procedures or surgeries as required. - Ensure timely follow-up care and monitor patient progress. - Review clinical documentation and prescriptions made by junior staff. - Facilitate training sessions for junior doctors and healthcare staff. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Provide second opinions and expert advice on complex cases. - Attend case review meetings and ward rounds to contribute to patient care strategies.
