About the Role: As a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to patients with cardiovascular conditions.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assess, diagnose, and treat patients referred by other doctors or healthcare professionals. - Create, review, and update individualized treatment plans based on medical history, test results, and patient needs. - Perform or oversee complex procedures or surgeries as required by the specialization. - Ensure timely and appropriate follow-up care, monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary. - Review and sign off on clinical documentation and prescriptions made by junior staff. - Facilitate training sessions, workshops, or seminars for junior doctors and other healthcare staff. - Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care. - Provide second opinions and expert advice to other physicians regarding complex cases. - Attend case review meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
