Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Consultant Neonatologist, you will provide specialized care to newborns with critical health issues, ensuring their health and well-being.
How You'll Contribute: - Provide specialized care to newborns with critical health issues, such as prematurity, respiratory distress, sepsis, and congenital abnormalities. - Manage neonates in NICU, ensuring appropriate monitoring and treatment, including ventilation, feeding, and medication management. - Lead the resuscitation and stabilization of high-risk newborns at delivery. - Develop individualized care plans for each newborn based on clinical assessments and investigations. - Perform specialized procedures such as endotracheal intubation, umbilical line placement, chest tube insertion, and exchange transfusions. - Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, pediatric surgeons, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care to neonates. - Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case discussions, and care planning with nurses, dietitians, respiratory therapists, and other team members. - Provide leadership and clinical guidance to the NICU team, including junior doctors, nursing staff, and support staff.
