About the Role: As a Sr. Registrar/Registrar in Pediatrics, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients, ensuring their health and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing: - Perform initial assessments of pediatric patients, including medical history and physical exams. - Assist in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic pediatric illnesses. - Provide medical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings under the supervision of senior consultants. - Manage common pediatric conditions such as respiratory infections, gastrointestinal illnesses, asthma, and allergies. - Monitor patient progress and participate in follow-up care, ensuring effective implementation of treatment plans. - Provide care to hospitalized children, including management of acute cases in pediatric wards and the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). - Perform routine procedures such as intravenous cannulation, lumbar punctures, and arterial blood gas sampling. - Attend ward rounds with senior consultants and follow their directions for patient management.
