About the Role: As an Anaesthesiologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ medical histories, current health status, and surgical requirements to determine appropriate anaesthesia plans. - Assess patient-specific risks and recommend modifications to anaesthesia plans to mitigate potential complications. - Discuss anaesthesia options, risks, and post-operative care with patients and obtain informed consent. - Administer various types of anaesthesia, including general, regional, local, and sedation, based on the type of surgery and patient needs. - Ensure proper dosing of aesthetic agents, manage intravenous lines, and maintain airway management throughout procedures. - Continuously monitor patients’ vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and ventilation, and adjust anaesthesia levels as needed. - Monitor patients during surgical procedures to ensure stability and comfort, adjusting anaesthesia and interventions as required. - Respond promptly to any intraoperative complications or emergencies, such as changes in vital signs or adverse reactions to anaesthesia. - Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth and efficient surgical operations.
