Your Core Responsibilities: - Provide prompt and effective medical care for patients with a wide range of emergency conditions, including trauma, cardiac arrest, strokes, and respiratory distress. - Perform initial assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and ordering appropriate diagnostic tests. - Stabilize critically ill or injured patients through interventions such as airway management and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). - Conduct minor procedures such as suturing, wound care, and fracture stabilization. - Make decisions regarding the admission or discharge of patients based on clinical findings. - Oversee the functioning of the emergency department during shifts, ensuring efficient patient flow. - Coordinate care with other departments and ensure timely consultations when needed. - Supervise junior doctors, residents, and nurses, providing guidance and assistance as required.
