About the Role: As a Consultant in Pediatrics, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care for children, ensuring their health and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide comprehensive medical care for children, including routine check-ups, diagnosis, and treatment of illnesses, infections, and injuries. - Manage pediatric outpatient and inpatient services. - Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate treatments. - Attend deliveries and provide care to newborns, especially in high-risk or complicated cases. - Manage chronic conditions like asthma, diabetes, and allergies. - Monitor growth and development, providing guidance on nutrition, immunizations, and health education. - Ensure timely diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pediatric conditions. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, specialists, and other healthcare providers.
