Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Neonatologist at Sunrise Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to newborns, especially those who are premature or critically ill.
How You'll Contribute: - Provide comprehensive care to newborns, particularly those who are premature, critically ill, or require surgery. - Monitor and manage the health of newborns with complex medical conditions, such as respiratory issues, cardiac problems, congenital disabilities, or infections. - Conduct thorough physical examinations and perform diagnostic tests to assess the health of infants in the NICU. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the medical condition of each neonate. - Administer treatments such as ventilation support, medications, and nutritional management for newborns requiring intensive care. - Perform necessary medical procedures, including intubation, central line insertion, and lumbar puncture, as needed. - Continuously monitor vital signs and progress of neonates in the NICU and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed. - Track developmental milestones of newborns and ensure appropriate care for long-term recovery and development.
