About the Role: As a Pulmonologist at Sunrise Hospital, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with respiratory conditions, making a significant impact on their health and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with respiratory symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, wheezing, and chest pain. - Perform detailed medical histories, physical examinations, and review diagnostic tests, including chest X-rays, CT scans, and pulmonary function tests. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with respiratory conditions. - Prescribe and manage medications, including bronchodilators, corticosteroids, and antibiotics. - Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and lung biopsies. - Conduct pulmonary function tests to assess lung function and guide treatment decisions. - Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions, treatment options, and management strategies. - Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications, such as smoking cessation and managing environmental triggers.
