Your Core Responsibilities: - Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients under the supervision of senior surgeons in the general surgery department. - Perform minor surgical procedures and assist in major surgeries, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. - Manage pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient assessment, monitoring, and follow-up. - Maintain detailed patient records, including medical histories, diagnostic reports, and treatment plans. - Provide medical consultations and advice to patients regarding surgical options, risks, and recovery processes. - Monitor and evaluate the progress of patients, adjusting care plans as necessary. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients. - Participate in ward rounds and surgical meetings, contributing to decision-making regarding patient care. - Assist in research activities, data collection, and medical documentation as part of ongoing clinical studies.
