About the Role: As an ICU Duty Doctor, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
What You'll Be Doing: - Monitor and manage patients' vital signs, ensuring timely intervention when necessary. - Administer medications, fluids, and other treatments as prescribed by attending physicians. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, specialists, and surgeons, to develop and implement care plans. - Perform medical procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, and other critical interventions as required. - Interpret lab results, imaging studies, and other diagnostic data to guide treatment decisions. - Provide regular updates to patients' families on their condition and progress. - Respond to medical emergencies in the ICU and manage critical care situations effectively. - Document all patient care activities, including treatments, procedures, and responses to interventions.
