Make a Difference in Patient Care: As an Intensivist at Nowrosjee Wadia Maternity Hospital, you will play a crucial role in managing critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and providing advanced life support.
How You'll Contribute: - Manage critically ill patients in the ICU and provide advanced life support. - Oversee patient monitoring systems and respond promptly to any changes in condition. - Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies for critical conditions. - Perform invasive and non-invasive procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, and ventilator management. - Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals. - Counsel and update patient families on treatment progress and prognosis. - Lead code blue situations and handle medical emergencies within the hospital. - Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records and treatment plans. - Train and mentor junior doctors, nurses, and ICU staff on critical care protocols. - Participate in ICU audits and initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and care quality.
