About the Role: As an Anesthesiologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assess patient medical history, allergies, and co-morbidities to determine appropriate anesthesia plans. - Conduct physical examinations and review diagnostic tests such as ECG, X-rays, and blood reports. - Counsel patients and families about the anesthesia process, risks, and postoperative expectations. - Develop and execute anesthesia plans tailored to the procedure and patient's condition. - Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia, including epidural, spinal, or nerve blocks. - Monitor patients continuously during surgical or medical procedures to ensure stability. - Oversee patient vitals such as heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and ventilation during procedures. - Adjust anesthetic dosages as required based on patient responses and procedure duration. - Respond to emergencies and complications promptly, including managing cardiac arrest, airway obstructions, or allergic reactions.
