Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Consultant Medical Oncologist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and diagnosing patients with cancer, developing tailored treatment plans, and providing comprehensive care.
How You'll Contribute: - Evaluate and diagnose patients with cancer, reviewing medical history, lab tests, imaging studies, and biopsy reports. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the type and stage of cancer. - Administer and monitor the effects of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and supportive medications. - Assess and manage side effects or complications related to cancer treatment. - Provide palliative care and symptom management for advanced cancer patients. - Refer patients to surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, or other specialists as needed. - Participate in tumor boards and case discussions to develop comprehensive treatment strategies. - Work closely with pathologists, radiologists, surgeons, and radiation oncologists to ensure coordinated care.
