About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Anesthesia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluation of patients, including reviewing medical history, diagnostic reports, and assessing risk factors. - Counsel patients and families regarding anesthesia procedures and potential risks. - Administer anesthesia during surgeries, including general, regional, and local anesthesia, under supervision. - Monitor patients during procedures to ensure vital signs are stable. - Assist in selecting and preparing appropriate anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment. - Assist in critical care settings by managing ventilators, central lines, and sedation for ICU patients. - Collaborate with intensivists in managing critically ill patients.
