About the Role: As a Sr. Resident in Forensic Medicine, you will play a crucial role in educating future medical professionals and contributing to the field of forensic science.
What You'll Be Doing: - Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students about forensic medicine, including medico-legal aspects, autopsy procedures, and crime scene investigations. - Conducting practical sessions and demonstrations on forensic techniques, such as post-mortem examination and evidence collection. - Supervising students during clinical and forensic rotations, providing guidance on handling medico-legal cases. - Assisting in the investigation and documentation of medico-legal cases, including autopsies, death investigations, and injury assessments. - Participating in research activities related to forensic medicine, including studies on toxicology, forensic pathology, and injury interpretation. - Monitoring and evaluating students' academic performance through exams, practical assessments, and research projects. - Collaborating with law enforcement agencies, hospitals, and courts in medico-legal matters. - Engaging in continuous professional development and staying updated with legal and medical advancements in forensic medicine. - Mentoring and training junior residents and medical students in forensic practices and medico-legal documentation.
