About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Obstetrics & Gynecology, you will play a crucial role in managing patient care and ensuring the safety of mothers and newborns.
What You'll Be Doing: - Manage inpatient and outpatient cases related to obstetrics and gynecology under the guidance of senior consultants. - Oversee and conduct normal and cesarean deliveries, ensuring maternal and neonatal safety. - Assist and perform gynecological surgeries such as hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and other minor procedures. - Handle obstetric and gynecological emergencies, including ectopic pregnancies, miscarriages, and postpartum complications. - Conduct regular rounds for antenatal, postnatal, and gynecology patients, ensuring timely interventions. - Maintain detailed records of patient histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and outcomes. - Counsel patients on family planning, antenatal care, postpartum recovery, and gynecological health. - Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. - Mentor junior residents, interns, and medical students, sharing expertise and supervising their clinical work. - Participate in clinical audits, research activities, and continuous medical education (CME).
