About the Role: As a Sr. Resident in Microbiology, you will play a crucial role in educating future healthcare professionals and contributing to research in the field.
What You'll Be Doing: - Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students about microbiology, including the study of microorganisms, infections, and laboratory techniques. - Conducting practical sessions and laboratory demonstrations, focusing on microbiological techniques such as culturing, staining, and identifying pathogens. - Supervising students during clinical rotations, helping them understand microbiological aspects of infectious diseases and diagnostics. - Assisting in research projects related to microbiology, including bacteriology, virology, mycology, and parasitology. - Monitoring and evaluating students' academic progress through exams, practical assessments, and research projects. - Contributing to the development and update of microbiology curriculum and educational resources. - Engaging in clinical microbiology practice, including diagnostic testing and interpretation of results. - Staying updated with advances in microbiology and integrating new knowledge into teaching and research. - Collaborating with other medical departments for interdisciplinary learning and patient care.
