About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Biochemistry, you will play a crucial role in educating and guiding the next generation of medical professionals.
What You'll Be Doing: - Teaching and conducting practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students on topics related to biochemistry. - Supervising and guiding students during laboratory work, ensuring proper techniques and safety protocols are followed. - Assisting in the design and execution of research studies in biochemistry, including molecular biology, enzymology, and metabolic pathways. - Monitoring and evaluating students' performance in exams, practical assessments, and research projects. - Participating in clinical rounds, contributing biochemistry-related insights to patient care discussions and diagnostic processes. - Maintaining laboratory equipment, chemicals, and reagents, ensuring they meet required standards for educational and research activities. - Mentoring and supporting junior residents and medical students during their rotations and clinical training. - Collaborating with faculty and other departments for interdisciplinary teaching and research initiatives. - Staying updated with advancements in biochemistry and applying the latest knowledge to teaching and research. - Contributing to departmental activities, including seminars, workshops, and research publications.
