About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Pediatrics, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of pediatric care through teaching and mentoring.
What You'll Be Doing: - Teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in pediatrics, including both theoretical and practical aspects. - Supervising and guiding junior residents and medical students during clinical rotations, patient assessments, and pediatric procedures. - Managing pediatric cases, diagnosing and treating a range of acute and chronic conditions in children. - Assisting in pediatric emergencies, providing care in neonatal, pediatric, and intensive care units. - Participating in research related to pediatric diseases, child health, and growth/development. - Monitoring and evaluating the academic performance of students and residents, conducting assessments and exams. - Providing counseling and support to families regarding pediatric conditions, vaccinations, and developmental milestones. - Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including pediatric subspecialists, for holistic patient care. - Staying updated on the latest advances in pediatric medicine, treatment protocols, and emerging healthcare issues.
