About the Role: As an Interventional Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in performing a variety of interventional procedures that significantly impact patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Perform a range of interventional procedures, including angiography, stenting, biopsy, drain placements, and vascular access. - Utilize imaging modalities such as fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI to guide interventions. - Conduct thorough evaluations of patients prior to interventional procedures, including reviewing medical history, imaging studies, and laboratory results. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient conditions and needs. - Monitor patients post-procedure for any complications or adverse reactions, providing appropriate follow-up care. - Educate patients and families about the procedure, potential risks, and aftercare requirements. - Work closely with surgeons, oncologists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment strategies. - Consult with referring physicians on imaging studies, results, and recommended interventions.
