About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, you will play a crucial role in conducting forensic examinations and providing expert testimony in legal cases.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct detailed forensic medical examinations on victims of trauma, violence, or unnatural deaths. - Perform autopsies and document findings in accordance with legal and institutional protocols. - Collect and preserve evidence from forensic cases, including biological samples and physical evidence. - Prepare comprehensive medico-legal reports and provide expert testimony in court as required. - Conduct toxicological assessments and analyses to identify poisons, drugs, and other substances in biological samples. - Interpret toxicological data and integrate findings with clinical and forensic information. - Collaborate with toxicologists to ensure accurate and timely analysis of cases involving suspected poisoning or overdose. - Lead practical sessions and demonstrations in forensic examination techniques and toxicological analysis. - Develop and update educational materials and case studies for teaching purposes.
