About the Role: As a Cardiac Anesthesia Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing cardiac surgeries.
What You'll Be Doing: - Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing cardiac surgeries, ensuring appropriate sedation, pain management, and stability during procedures. - Conduct pre-operative assessments to evaluate patients' cardiovascular health and determine the appropriate anesthesia plan. - Monitor vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and ECG, during cardiac surgeries. - Collaborate with the cardiothoracic surgical team to ensure optimal anesthesia management throughout the procedure. - Adjust anesthesia levels and medication dosages as needed based on patient response and surgical requirements. - Manage the use of advanced anesthetic equipment, including ventilators, defibrillators, and blood gas monitoring systems. - Provide post-operative care, including monitoring patients during recovery from anesthesia and addressing any complications or pain management needs. - Educate patients on the anesthesia process, including risks, benefits, and post-surgery care instructions. - Stay updated with advances in cardiac anesthesia techniques, pharmacology, and safety protocols. - Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care, including drug administration, patient responses, and intraoperative conditions.
