Your Core Responsibilities: - Perform surgical procedures to treat various medical conditions, including emergency, elective, and minimally invasive surgeries. - Assess and diagnose patients requiring surgical intervention through consultations, diagnostic tests, and evaluations. - Develop comprehensive preoperative, operative, and postoperative care plans tailored to each patient. - Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other specialists to ensure safe and efficient surgical care. - Monitor patient progress post-surgery, managing complications and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans. - Provide guidance and counseling to patients and their families regarding surgical procedures, risks, and recovery. - Maintain detailed and accurate medical records, including surgical notes and patient histories. - Stay updated on advancements in surgical techniques, equipment, and best practices through continuous medical education. - Participate in training and mentoring medical students, residents, and junior surgeons. - Adhere to hospital protocols, regulatory standards, and ethical guidelines to ensure quality and safety in patient care.
