Make a Difference in Patient Care: As an Intensivist at Park Hospital, you will provide specialized care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU), ensuring their health conditions are monitored closely.
How You'll Contribute: - Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with life-threatening conditions such as respiratory failure, sepsis, and multi-organ dysfunction. - Manage complex medical equipment like ventilators, dialysis machines, and monitoring systems to support patient recovery. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, cardiologists, nurses, and respiratory therapists, to plan and execute patient care. - Administer and adjust medications, fluids, and nutritional support based on patients' needs and response to treatment. - Conduct regular rounds to assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and ensure adherence to medical protocols. - Provide support for patients and families, explaining treatment options, risks, and recovery expectations in a compassionate manner. - Supervise and guide ICU nursing staff in delivering optimal care while ensuring safety and comfort for patients. - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment protocols, medications, and outcomes, in compliance with hospital policies.
