About the Role: As a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal issues, ensuring optimal patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Consulting with patients and analyzing patient data to determine needs and treatment goals. - Examining patients to diagnose bone, joint, ligament, or other musculoskeletal problems. - Collaborating with specialists to determine treatment courses. - Recording patient care by maintaining detailed notes of appointments. - Administering anesthetics when necessary. - Performing surgical procedures on the musculoskeletal system. - Prescribing medication for recovery and pain control. - Referring patients to physical therapy or performing noninvasive procedures. - Monitoring ongoing progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed. - Providing support and advice to patients receiving long-term care.
