About the Role: As a Pathologist at Numed Super Speciality Hospital, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing diseases through laboratory tests and collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Perform laboratory tests to analyze bodily fluids, tissues, and cells for disease diagnosis. - Provide expert interpretation of test results to aid clinical decision-making. - Supervise and ensure quality control in laboratory procedures and techniques. - Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss patient diagnoses and treatment plans. - Conduct autopsies to determine the cause of death when required. - Maintain and ensure compliance with medical standards and ethical practices. - Develop and improve laboratory testing protocols and methodologies. - Train and oversee laboratory technicians and junior medical staff. - Participate in research to advance understanding of diseases and diagnostic technologies. - Prepare and present detailed medical reports for patients and healthcare teams.
