About the Role: As a Junior Consultant in Pediatrics, you will play a crucial role in providing medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring their health and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, diagnosing and treating a variety of illnesses and injuries. - Conduct thorough medical examinations, assess growth and development, and address concerns raised by parents or guardians. - Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and preventive health measures, such as vaccinations. - Assist in managing pediatric emergencies, including acute illnesses or injuries. - Collaborate with senior consultants and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care. - Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. - Educate parents and families about child health, nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention. - Participate in clinical rounds, case discussions, and medical education sessions. - Monitor hospitalized pediatric patients, ensuring timely and effective treatment.
