About the Role: As an Anesthetist at IRIS Multi Speciality Hospital, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assess patients’ medical histories and physical conditions to determine appropriate anaesthesia plans. - Administer anaesthesia agents before, during, and after surgical or medical procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety. - Monitor vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and breathing, during procedures. - Adjust anaesthesia levels as needed based on the patient's response and procedure requirements. - Ensure that all equipment and medication are properly prepared and functioning before and during surgeries. - Provide post-operative care by monitoring patients as they recover from anaesthesia, managing pain and any adverse reactions. - Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure safe and effective procedures. - Evaluate and manage patients with specific anaesthesia risks, including those with chronic conditions or allergies. - Educate patients and their families about the anaesthesia process, risks, and recovery expectations.
